The Ocala Civic Theatre will be hosting its annual Harvey Awards later this month to celebrate the best shows of the 2021-2022 season.
The ceremony, which is the Ocala Civic Theatre’s version of the Tony Awards, is being held at the theater (4337 E Silver Springs Boulevard) on Saturday, June 18. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour consisting of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live music.
The awards ceremony will kick off at 7 p.m., and awards will be given for excellence in acting, technical aspects, and volunteer service. The ceremony will also look back at several special moments from the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons.
An after-party will begin at around 8:30 p.m., and it will feature desserts and music on the outdoor stage.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Tickets are currently available and cost $15 per person.
