The Humane Society of Marion County has announced that its ‘Barkin’ Brunch’ event has been cancelled.
The cancellation is due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, according to a social media post from the nonprofit organization.
The event, which was scheduled to take place this Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Ocala, was going to feature an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet with mimosas, animals for adoption, items for raffle, and music.
Everyone who purchased a ticket to the event will be issued a refund via mail in the coming days.
