SunTran will host two public meetings next week to provide an update on the Transit Development Plan (TDP).
An in-person meeting will first be held on Wednesday, June 29, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the MLK First Responders Campus Community Building located at 615 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
A virtual meeting will also be available on Thursday, June 30, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Any residents who wish to attend the virtual meeting can click here to register.
Both sessions are free and open to the public.
The purpose of these meetings is to solicit input from the community about the TDP, a 10-year vision plan for the future of transit in Ocala/Marion County. The TDP evaluates the existing transit system, identifies current and future service improvements, and develops a financial plan that is based on available funding.
