Glenn William Sauer passed away on June 18th, 2022 at Ocala Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Glenn was born in Quincy, Mass to the late George and Glady’s (Olson) Sauer on Oct, 1st 1940. He spent his youth growing up on Cape Cod. He graduated from Dennis/ Yarmouth Regional High School in 1958 and from Mass Radio School in 1961.

He leaves his loving wife of 54 years, Donna (Jameson) Sauer and his two children, Michelle L. Sauer and Glenn R. Sauer. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Gail Long and Georgia Baxter. He leaves two sisters-in-law, Joanne Doherty and Mary-Ellen Welch, a brother-in -law, David Long and many nieces and nephews.

He retired from CH38-Storer Broadcasting in Boston. His camera work was considered among the best in the business. He loved sports and his job made it possible for him to meet many of his sport heroes. His one true love was golf. He remembered the set-up of every golf course he ever played. Even if he played it 40 years ago. He was a generous golfer, willing to help anyone improve their game. We are honoring Glenn’s wishes. There will be no services. He will be cremated and a family day of memory and celebration of his life, will take place at a later date in MA. His ashes will be interred at St, Joseph’s Cemetery at West Roxbury, Ma.
