On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Sabrena Renea Hector went on to be with the Lord. No more pain or suffering and she now has eternal peace with our Lord Jesus.

She was born in Ocala, Florida, on February 20, 1964 to William Taft Hector, Jr., and Rosa Lee Hector.

Sabrena joined Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church in April 1977 under the leadership of Rev. J. T. Scott. She served in the youth choir and the junior usher board. She later moved her membership to Galilee Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth McGill. She was active in their women’s ministry.

Sabrena received her formal education in Marion County and graduated from Lake Weir High School in 1982.

Sabrena was employed many years working with the Marion County School Board at Lake Weir Middle School. She served in many roles with the school, from learning to cook in the kitchen, working in the copy room to retiring her career as a teacher assistant.

Sabrena was a loving, friendly, and hard-working woman. She had a fierce personality with a beautiful smile. She was a strong woman who fought her way through life. She was an exceptional mother and she adored both of her daughters. She loved to travel. She loved fashion and would sew and knit when she was able. She had a passion to help support and encourage other women in their walks of life.

Sabrena was the mother of two beautiful ladies: Tashia Sharell Hector and Ashley Chanice Bailey.

Sabrena leaves to cherish her memories; Her daughters: Tashia S. Hector and Ashley C. Bailey (Darren); Her brother: Quintin L. Hector (Janet); Her parents: William T. and Rosa L. Hector, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and caring friends.
