A new art exhibit will soon be on display at Ocala City Hall.
The exhibit, ‘A Floral Retrospective’ by Gregory Dirr, opens on Thursday, July 7, and it will remain on display through Friday, December 9, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Clerk’s Office in Ocala City Hall (110 SE Watula Avenue).
There is no cost to check out the exhibit and it is open to the public.
Gregory Dirr lives and works in Boca Raton. He is an interdisciplinary visual artist, creating work as a cathartic response to his surroundings with a focus on environmental conservation.
Since graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Dirr has exhibited internationally and curated group and solo exhibitions. He is currently focusing on individual bodies of work and taking on large-scale commissions from cities and private organizations.
