Artists still have time to submit their applications for the popular Ocala Arts Festival, which will return to downtown Ocala in the fall.
Fine Arts For Ocala will host the 55th installment of the festival on Saturday, October 22, and Sunday, October 23, 2022. Last year’s two-day event saw thousands of visitors flock to the streets of downtown Ocala.
All artists and emerging artists are encouraged to submit an application to participate in this year’s festival. To apply, visit the Fine Arts For Ocala application webpage.
The deadline for all applications is midnight on Friday, July 15, 2022. The event will feature over 150 artists, with blind judging to be completed by no later than Friday, August 5, 2022.
Each participating artist will have a chance to compete for a $5,000 best in show prize, as well as multiple other cash prizes totaling $27,000, including 10 awards of merit and six $1,000 “Emerging Artist” awards, among others.
