Yvette Luciene Bouchard Chaloux

Yvette Luciene Bouchard Chaloux, 92, passed away June 27, 2022 in Ocala, Florida. She was born June 17, 1930 in Saint Denis, Quebec, Canada to Leopold Bouchard and Donalda Galipeau Bouchard,

Yvette, as a teenager, moved to the United States, where she learned to speak English her first language was French and became an US citizen. She moved with her four siblings and lived in Connecticut, Vermont and Florida the last 38 years. She had a variety of different skills and jobs which included sewing, managing, care for children in a hospital and business owner. She was very strong in her faith and that was always the most important to her.

Yvette was very involved in her church, as a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Yvette volunteered for over 15 years at the Soup Kitchen Brother’s Keeper. Yvette also enjoyed traveling, family, music, exercising, and having fun, her smile could light up a room.

Yvette was preceded in death by both parents, her husband of 29 years, Rene Chaloux in 1998; and her sisters Cecile Bouchard Bergeron and Leotine Bouchard Tougas.

She is survived by daughter, Maryanne Chaloux French; son in law, Michael French; her brother, Andre Bouchard and sister, Lorraine Bouchard Quirion; sister in law, Pauline Bouchard; brother in law, Beniot Quirion and many nieces and nephews.

Please join Yvette’s family for a Visitation Gathering at Roberts Funeral Homes, 6241 SW State Road 200, Ocala, Florida from 6-8 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 7PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 08:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW State Road 200, Ocala, Florida, Thursday, July 7, 2022 with Father Patrick O’Doherty officiating. At the conclusion of the Mass, Yvette’s family and friends will travel in procession to Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20th Street, Ocala, Florida for a Graveside Blessing.

After the conclusion of the funeral and Burial, we will be having a reception and fellowship at Roberts Funeral Homes, 6241 SW State Road 200 Ocala Florida.
