Albert Emanuel Davis, of Ocala, passed away July 5, 2022.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 1,1945 to the late Arthur St. Clair and Virginia Elizabeth Davis. He was the second oldest of four sons. Albert attended East New York Vocational & Technical High School in Brooklyn, NY. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1965 and served four years active duty (with honorable discharge) as an Aircraft Mechanic. Albert then served in the Air Force Reserve from 1969 – 1971.

After leaving the Air Force Albert made his career with the New York City Transit Authority. Albert married Lillian Rosemary Brown, and to that union they had one daughter Kristine Cecil Davis. In 1992 he moved to Florida and married Cynthia Horne, they too had one daughter Antoinette Elaine Davis Bobb.

Albert leaves to cherish his memories two daughters: – Kristine Cecil Davis (NC) and Antoinette Elaine Davis Bobb (Floyd) (FL). He has a special daughter Kia Sellars (GA) and was preceded in death by son Ron Williams (FL).

Grandchildren: Cameyo Bettis (NC), Ericka Williams (FL), Deja Williams (Italy), Rayven Williams, and Krista Joseph both of NC, Madison & Palmer Williams, II, Akil Davis, and Na’ilah Bobb all of FL.

Also left to celebrate him are three brothers: Charles Royal Davis (the late Theresa Worrell) (NY), Arthur Sinclair Davis II (Priscilla) (PA) and John Bradford Davis (Betsy Volant) (NY); Finally, Al also leaves to cherish his memories a special friend and caregiver, Shawnee Taylor (FL), he was a life-member of the VFW Post 7193, Ocala, and The Thomas Community Center Flemington, FL, and other Club affiliations. Special thanks to Hospice of Marion, the nurses and aides of the E. W. and Lucille Cates House and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
