Comedian Jon Lovitz will take the stage at the Reilly Arts Center this week.
The Reilly Arts Center, which is located at 500 NE 9th Street, will host the well-known comedian on Friday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Lovitz has a comedy career spanning over three decades. As a Saturday Night Live cast member, he portrayed several memorable characters including Tommy Flanagan of the Pathological Liars Anonymous (“Yeah, that’s the ticket”), Master Thespian, Hanukkah Harry, and The Devil.
Lovitz has appeared in numerous films, including Big, A League of Their Own, The Wedding Singer, High School High, Small Time Crooks, Rat Race, The Producers, Eight Crazy Nights, The Benchwarmers, and Grown Ups 2, among others.
Along with his comedy, Lovitz is known for his unique voice. He provided the voice of Jay Sherman in the cult classic animated series The Critic, and he also lent his voice to multiple episodes of The Simpsons.
The Reilly Arts Center lists the show as being appropriate for ages 18 and up. Tickets are still available and range from $20 to $75.
