Local vendors still have a month to submit their applications in order to be eligible to participate in the 38th installment of Light Up Ocala this fall.
This year’s event will return to Downtown Ocala to kick off the holidays on Saturday, November 19, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Vendor booths are being offered in a few different sizes and start for as little as $30 for nonprofit organizations. The deadline for all vendors to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, August 19.
Digital and hard copy applications are available, and there are also sponsorship opportunities.
According to city records, vendors will receive a final notification on the status of their application by Friday, September 2. If accepted, participating vendors will have until Friday, September 16 to submit their payment.
Light Up Ocala will include many arts, crafts, and food vendors, interactive displays, live music, an interactive kids zone, the Junior Sunshine holiday parade, an appearance by Santa, and the featured attraction: lighting up Downtown Ocala.
