Mary Jane Mahan Hart sadly passed at her home in Ocala, FL, on July 5, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on April 6, 1929. Mary has lived in Ocala, Florida for the past 35 years with her loving husband, James P. Hart who preceded her on February 14, 2008.
Mary was a wonderful mother of eight children who was always there when she was needed. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Oak Run.
Mary was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary is survived by her five daughters, Patricia Trinity and Nancy Hart of New Jersey, Kathleen Spisak of South Carolina, Elizabeth Kirkowski and Mary Jane Charterina of Florida; and three sons, James Hart, Kennith Hart and Edward Hart of Florida; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Private services and interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in her honor.
