Lydia E. Kenniasty, 80, of Summerfield, Florida passed away July 20, 2022, at her home in Summerfield, Florida. She was the wife of Donald Kenniasty, Jr for 50 years.
Lydia was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico a daughter of the late Miguel Rivera and Ramona Lopez. She had a master’s degree and worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for 20 yrs. She was also employed by the Marion County Public School System for 17yrs.
Lydia is survived by her husband, Donald Kenniasty Jr. her daughter Debbie K. Moreno and son Manuel Kenniasty both of Summerfield, FL. She was the grandmother of Kayla Garcia, Alex Garcia, and Gabriel Kenniasty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ever Gonzalez, brother Miguel Rivera and granddaughter Kathryn Garcia.
The family will receive friends at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The Funeral Mass will start at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the Belleview Cemetery, Belleview, FL.
