Marion County Utilities has rescinded the precautionary boil water notice for 176 residents, including businesses and homes, within the Golden Holiday MHP communities.
The water in these communities has been proven safe to drink after the satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey as per guidelines from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The boil water notice was issued on Sunday, July 24 as a precaution due to the loss of pressure at the water plant.
