Registration open for Adult Basketball League’s fall season

The E.D. Croskey Recreation Center will play host to a new Adult Basketball League beginning in September, and registration is open for individuals and teams.

The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is hosting another season of its organized basketball league for established teams and individuals looking to join a team. The upcoming season, which tips off on Tuesday, September 6 and runs through Thursday, October 13, is open to adults (ages 18 and up).

The league offers full-court, 5-on-5 (8-man max roster) play with 2 referees, stat tracking, and a scorekeeper in attendance at each game. On Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season, games will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The season includes 10 regular season games with all teams making a single elimination playoff at the end. Numbered jerseys will be provided for all players.

The cost to participate in the league is $35 per person.
