Ocala Fire Rescue seeking vendor to provide work uniforms

The City of Ocala is soliciting quotes for a vendor to provide work uniforms for Ocala Fire Rescue employees.

The request for quotes is currently posted through the City of Ocala’s Procurement and Contracting Office and runs through Thursday, August 11 at 2 p.m.

According to the scope of work outlined in the request, the chosen vendor will provide work uniforms for approximately 150 employees of Ocala Fire Rescue. The vendor will be responsible for producing and providing all emblems and patches for the uniforms.

Since online ordering for the OFR employees will be required, and each employee will need their own online ordering account, the city is requiring that vendors also provide a sample website/sandbox.

Any vendors that are interested in this request must submit a price proposal along with a sample that includes the manufacturer’s specifications, illustrations, and descriptive literature of the proposed uniforms and specialty items.

All samples must be sent to the City of Ocala Procurement Office (Attention: David C. Williams, 110 SE Watula Avenue, 3rd Floor, Ocala, FL 34471) via mail, and the samples must be received by no later than five business days after the bid submittal deadline to be eligible.

Once a vendor has been selected by the City of Ocala, the awarded vendor must provide a sample of their design template of the seal and logo within 30 business days.

Any resulting contract will be for an initial three-year term beginning on October 1, 2022, with the option for two additional one-year renewals, according to city records.
