MCSO looking for missing and endangered 10-year-old girl from Ocklawaha

(Update from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office: Arianna Lauren Michelle Ames has been located and is safe.)

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is turning to the public to help locate a missing and endangered 10-year-old girl from Ocklawaha.

According to an MCSO release, at approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022, Arianna Lauren Michelle Ames was seen walking in the 13100 block of SE 145th Avenue in Ocklawaha.

Arianna is 4’0”, she weighs approximately 73 pounds, and she has brown eyes and brown hair. When Arianna was last seen, she was wearing light blue jeans and a white champion shirt with rainbow-colored lettering.

Arianna got into a vehicle, possibly a black four-door vehicle, that was occupied by her biological parents, William “Billy” Ames and Vanessa Villanueva. Neither of Arianna’s biological parents have custody of her, according to MCSO.
