FHP enters nationwide contest to determine ‘Best Looking Cruiser’

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has entered a nationwide competition to determine which state’s highway patrol has the best-looking cruiser.

The American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) annual Best Looking Cruiser contest officially kicked off today and it will continue through Thursday, August 25.

Floridians can click here to view all the entries and cast their vote. Anyone wanting to vote for FHP should select “Florida” from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page and then click “Done.”

The Florida Highway Patrol’s photo submission was taken by a trooper on the island community of Marathon in the Florida Keys. According to FHP, the photo “showcases the unmatched views and natural scenery of the Sunshine State.”

In addition to being presented with the Best Looking Cruiser Award, the winner of the contest will also be featured on the cover of AAST’s America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2023 Wall Calendar. The calendar’s sales will benefit the American Association of State Troopers Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers.
