Adult Co-Ed Basketball League tips off next month, registration still open

The fall season of the Adult Co-Ed Basketball League tips off next month at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center, and registration is currently open for individual players and teams.

The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host another season of its organized basketball league for established teams and individuals looking to join a team. The upcoming season, which begins on Tuesday, September 6 and runs through Thursday, October 13, is open to adults (ages 18 and up).

The league offers full-court, 5-on-5 (8-person max roster) games with two referees, stat tracking, and a scorekeeper in attendance at each game. On Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season, games will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The season includes 10 regular season games with all teams making a single elimination playoff at the end. Numbered jerseys will be provided for all players.

The cost to participate in the league is $35 per person.
