The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation after a deceased man was found inside a residence in Citra on Sunday morning.
On Sunday, August 28, at approximately 7:40 a.m., MCSO units responded to a residence on NE 134th Place in reference to an assault. When investigators arrived at the home, they found an adult man who had been killed.
MCSO Major Crimes detectives responded to the residence and are currently investigating the incident. The name of the deceased man was not released by the sheriff’s office.
In a social media post, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated, “At this time, all individuals involved in the incident are accounted for. When we have further information, we will provide updates.”
