MCSO seeking help identifying scratch-off lottery ticket theft suspect

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who is suspected of stealing scratch-off lottery tickets from a convenience store in Ocala.

According to a social media post from MCSO, the male suspect (pictured below) recently entered the Circle K convenience store located at the intersection of Maricamp Road and SE 44th Avenue Road. While inside the store, he allegedly grabbed six $20 scratch-off tickets and left the store without paying for them.

The suspect then returned to the convenience store and allegedly stole two additional $30 scratch-off tickets. The total loss for the store was $180.

“We need your help getting this thief off of the streets,” stated the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on its Facebook webpage. If you have any information on this man’s identity, please call MCSO at 352-732-9111.
