The public is invited to a community town hall meeting that will be hosted by the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department on Thursday, October 20, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center.
The City of Ocala recently announced the new date and time for the town hall meeting, which was originally scheduled to take place this weekend.
During the upcoming free meeting, those in attendance will learn more about the recreation, parks, and cultural arts divisions within the department. The city encourages community members to attend the meeting in order to ask questions and provide feedback on various programs and events that are offered by the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department.
“It is the goal of this series of community meetings to create a direct line of communication between City of Ocala departments and employees and the community members we serve,” says Jacob Baker, the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center’s Recreation Program Supervisor.
The E.D. Croskey Recreation Center is located at 1510 NW 4th Street in Ocala.
