Ocala Fire Rescue hiring firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics

Ocala Fire Rescue is currently looking for Florida certified firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics to join its team.

Those who are interested in applying have until 5 p.m. on Friday, October 7 to submit their applications and certifications – including current CPAT scores – to the City of Ocala.

According to OFR, firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics receive benefits that include life scan physicals, health insurance, annual and sick leave, holiday pay, six-week Kelly Days, licensing renewal, tuition reimbursement, educational incentives, and a pension plan.

In addition to job opportunities with Ocala Fire Rescue, the City of Ocala currently has a variety of positions available across multiple departments including 911 dispatchers, community service specialists, fleet vehicle technicians, groundskeepers, senior building inspectors, sworn police officers, and tree trimmers, to name a few.

Next week, CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion will host the Marion County Fall Job Fair in Ocala. The hiring event will be open to all job seekers in Citrus, Levy, and Marion Counties.
