Lisa Brown Jackson, a lifelong resident of Ocala, Florida, passed away on September 18, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Lisa was born on May 23, 1970, to Phelix and Jan Brown. She was a graduate of Forest High School. Lisa worked for the Walmart corporation for 31 years. She was a devoted sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend. Lisa’s nature was to leave every person she met better off than how she found them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lisa is survived by her sister Ulonda Brown, her father Phelix Brown, her stepmother, Mildred Brown, her brothers, Ronald Foster, Phelix Foster, and Lando Foster, her nephew, Victor Lamar Brown, Jr., her nieces, Shabria Frazier and Lisa-Victoria Brown, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved cats, Lele and Lala.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Jan Cohen Brown.
Memorial Service for Ms. Brown-Jackson will be on Thursday, September 22, 2022, 11:00am at Meadowbrook Church, 4741 SW 20th Street, Ocala, Florida. Pastor Pam Thomas will be conducting the words of comfort. Visitation will be at Sellers Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3pm-5pm. There will be no viewing on the day of service.
