City of Ocala sanitation services delayed next week

The City of Ocala’s residential sanitation collection routes will experience a one-day delay next week.

In preparation for Hurricane Ian, the city’s residential and commercial sanitation routes were suspended on Thursday, September 29. According to the city, commercial routes will resume on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1.

All residential sanitation collection routes that were scheduled for Thursday, September 29 will instead be collected on Monday, October 3.

In addition, all residential sanitation collection routes that are regularly scheduled for Monday, October 3 through Thursday, October 6 will experience a one-day delay, and will instead be collected on Tuesday, October 4 through Friday, October 7.
