Fort King National Historic Landmark reopens to public

The park and visitor center at the Fort King Historic Landmark have reopened to the public and will follow normal hours of operation.

According to the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department, the archaeological resource center will also reopen to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 1.

The park is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset or 7 p.m. (whichever comes first). The visitor center and archaeological resource center are both open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fort King National Historic Landmark is located at 3925 E Fort King Street in Ocala.
