Missing Marion County teen found shot to death at Reddick cemetery

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a homicide investigation after the body of a missing 16-year-old boy was found at a cemetery in Reddick.

On Wednesday, November 9, shortly after 7:45 a.m., MCSO received a 911 call advising that 16-year-old Kenneth Carr, Jr. had been found deceased at the Campground Cemetery located at 8565 NW 130th Street in Reddick. Carr’s family members had reported him as missing the day before.

Deputies responded to the cemetery and observed that Carr had been shot. MCSO Major Crimes detectives, crime scene investigators, and personnel from the Medical Examiner’s Office arrived on scene to begin a homicide investigation.
