Ocala to host two public meetings this week on proposed redistricting maps

The City of Ocala has announced that two additional public meetings about the proposed redistricting will be held this week.

During the scheduled Ocala City Council workshop that was held on Tuesday, November 8, council members requested these additional meetings, which will cover the proposed redistricting maps. City staff will also be available to answer any questions.

The city will host the first meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at the Lillian Bryant Community Center, which is located at 2200 NW 17th Place.

The second meeting will take place at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 17 at the Ocala Golf Club, which is located at 3130 E Silver Springs Boulevard, as part of the Building Community Roundtable agenda.

Both meetings are free and open to the public.
