Winter Break Camps returning to Brick City Adventure Park, Forest Community Center

Registration is now open for the Marion County Parks and Recreation Department’s upcoming Winter Break Camps, which will be held at Brick City Adventure Park and the Forest Community Center.

During the Winter Break Camps, participating children will get to interact with their peers while taking part in a variety of field trips and activities across Central Florida.

The first Winter Break Camp session will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, December 19 through Friday, December 23. The second camp session will take place on Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

The schedule of planned activities is as follows:

  • Brick City Winter Camp – Week One

    • Monday, December 19: Scavenger Hunt Field Day.
    • Tuesday, December 20: LaserOps.
    • Wednesday, December 21: AMF Bowling.
    • Thursday, December 22: Skate-away.
    • Friday, December 23: Planet Obstacle.
  • Brick City Winter Camp – Week Two
    • Tuesday, December 27: Brick City Movie Day.
    • Wednesday, December 28: Firehouse Urban Axe Throwing.
    • Thursday, December 29: Skyzone.
    • Friday, December 30: Main Event Orlando.
  • Forest Community Center Winter Camp – Week One
    • Monday, December 19: Field Day vs BCAP Camp.
    • Tuesday, December 20: M2 Battle Sports (Laser Tag).
    • Wednesday, December 21: Ice Factory of Central FL (Ice Skating).
    • Thursday, December 22: Rebounderz Apopka (Trampoline Park).
    • Friday, December 23: “Holi-days” Day at the facility featuring a Pajama Day, White elephant, arts and crafts, and a movie.
  • Forest Community Center Winter Camp – Week Two

    • Tuesday, December 27: Wonderworks Orlando.
    • Wednesday, December 28: Bonanza Golf (Mini Golf).
    • Thursday, December 29: Fun Spot Orlando.
    • Friday, December 30: Field Day.

Both camps are open to children ages 8 to 14. There is a $120 fee per week to participate in the Brick City Winter Camp and a $100 fee per week to participate in the Forest Community Center Winter Camp.

Brick City Adventure Park is located at 1211 22nd Road in Ocala, and Forest Community Center is located at 777 S Highway 314A in Ocklawaha.
