Bonnie Lynn Ricker Hensley, 53, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Hernando, Florida on November 14th, 2022.
She was born to parents Denise Goodman and Clyde Ricker on April 18th, 1969 in Ocala, Florida. After a childhood full of travels she graduated from Dunnellon High School.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Brittany Mills Trusgnich and granddaughter, Zenobia Trusgnich along with her mother, Denise Goodman and her sisters; Bridget Foley and Kimberly Tyler, which leaves behind her nephews who blessed her with great nieces and nephews that she adored. Bonnie is also survived by her bonus son, David Hensley along with his sons and her other bonus son, Fredrick Long Jr. Her partner, Fredrick Long took care of her in illness and stayed by her side until she left this world.
She was a homemaker who was best known for her green thumb along with her generosity and compassion for others. She leaves behind many touched hearts, but was able to reunite with her father, Clyde Ricker amongst his sisters and so many loved ones who she has missed dearly. Bonnie was a Christian who strongly believed that we should love people for who they are instead of what they were. Bonnie greatly loved all of her friends and family, she spent her last days reminiscing on all of the good memories she made through the years.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life potluck for Bonnie on Saturday November 26th at the Inglis Community Center located at 137 Hwy 40 W, Inglis, FL 34449 from 11:30-3.
