In addition to the sexual battery charge, Monk is also wanted for lewd and lascivious exhibition on a victim under 16 years of age and battery of a child by expelling certain bodily fluids, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Woods stated, “Citizens, I’m not even going to address this repulsive human being; I’m going to talk directly to you.” According to Sheriff Woods, Monk allegedly spent four years sexually abusing a child who was under the age of 12 years old.

MCSO now has a warrant for Monk’s arrest, and Sheriff Woods advised that Monk may be in Marion County, northwest Georgia, or southeast Tennessee. “No matter where he is, we need to get him off the streets before he abuses another child,” stated Sheriff Woods.

If you have any information on Monk’s whereabouts, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office asks that you call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 22-64 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
