‘Blessed be the Birds’ art exhibit opens at Ocala City Hall

Ocala artist Courtney Kravig-McGuire’s newest exhibit, “Blessed be the Birds,” is now on display at Ocala City Hall.

The free exhibit opened today, and it will remain on display through Monday, June 9, 2023, at the Clerk’s Office inside City Hall (110 SE Watula Avenue). Visitors will be able to browse the artwork on Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Courtney Kravig-McGuire lives and works in Ocala. Since childhood, she pursued an interest in visual arts and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in printmaking from the Herron School of Art + Design in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kravig-McGuire utilizes printmaking techniques to explore connections between nature and spirituality in her work. Her current art exhibitions include the City of Ocala’s First Friday Art Walks.
