Barbara Faye Jurgens, 84, of Belleview, Florida passed away on December 31, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Ernest C. Jurgens, they had been married 64 years.
Barbara was born in Pedro, Florida, the daughter of the late Albert and Thelma Millican. Prior to her retirement she spent many years working in Banking and for Margie Wood Trucking/Patco. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Belleview.
Barbara enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and spending time with her family. She was a lover of all sports, and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her Seminoles! Barbara spent many years as a pro league Bowler and loved vacationing in the mountains.
Barbara is survived by her husband Butch, sons Darren and Guy, and daughter Hope Wilcox and her husband Rick, her sisters- Lois and Peggy, five grandchildren- Samantha, Laina, Leah, Bailie and Jon William, and great grandchildren- Ava, Colton, Emma, Lila, Willow, William, Conner, Caleb, and Cooper. We miss her already!
The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 1:00 PP to 2:00 PM followed by the Funeral Services at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Ronny Walker officiating.
