As students across Marion County return to classrooms for the start of the second semester, Marion County Public Schools is reminding parents that the School Choice application window is closing at the end of the month.
Parents have until Tuesday, January 31 to submit their child’s School Choice application for the 2023-2024 school year. To learn more about the Magnet and Charter Academy programs that are available for local students, parents can click here.
In the event that a student has never been enrolled within the MCPS school district, they will need to complete a student enrollment form.
Parents and families must provide their own transportation if accepted into school choice programs since the district does not provide transportation for out-of-area placements.
