Glenn Edward Fowler, 55, passed away on January 2nd, 2023 in Ocala Florida as a result of complications from an accident he suffered two years ago.
Glenn was born in Oneida New York, to Alice Sharpnack Fowler and Leonard Fowler. He was raised in Canastota with his brother Darrell; graduating from Canastota High School in 1985. Glenn had lived in Florida for over 25 years. He was most recently employed on a horse farm prior to his accident. Glenn was a member of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, classic cars, and watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Glenn is survived by his siblings, Darrell Fowler, Diana Fallon, John Fowler, Denise Fowler and Stacy Fowler; as well as several nieces and nephews especially Sabrina & Danae Fowler whom he adored. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Mildred Whitmeyer and her family. He was preceded by his parents and infant siblings Ronald, Donald & Arlene Fowler.
There will be no services. Glenn’s body will be donated to science and his ashes spread in the Gulf of Mexico where he loved to fish.
