On January 7, 2023, Denise Bonnet Kinsey, of Scrambletown, a devoted wife, beloved Mother and an adored “Meme”, entered her eternal home with Jesus. Denise was born March 17, 1961, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Arthur Lee and Ruby Lee Bonnet. She moved to Marion County, Florida at a young age and attended Vanguard High School. At age 15, Denise’s life truly began when she met Tim Kinsey whom she shared 47 beautiful years with.

Denise loved the traditional Sunday suppers (which the family will continue), decorating for every holiday, sitting on her porch, her dogs Tucker and Gracie, horses, cooking shows and drawing. Denise’s love for her family was immeasurable and her fiery Cajun personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Lee & Ruby Lee Bonnet; Doug Bonnet, brother; Also waiting with open arms, Lloyd & Bert Kinsey and Toni Pauley Kinsey. Denise is survived by her husband Tim Kinsey; sons Matthew and Alex (Rachel) Kinsey; Grandchildren: Naomi Ruf, Colby Kinsey, Harper Kinsey, Sawyer Kinsey & Landry Kinsey; brother, Darren Bonnet; and best friend and sister-in-law, Karen Kinsey Woodham.

The family invites all who wish to honor her to a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, January 29th around noon, at The Kinsey’s home, where Denise loved to be more than anything. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Denise’s honor be made to the animal rescue of your choosing. “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” -2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV).
