Motorists can expect temporary lane closures in the westbound travel lane of SW Highway 484 in Ocala, from Interstate 75 to just west of SW 20th Avenue Road, beginning on Sunday evening.
According to the Marion County Office of the County Engineer, the lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., from Sunday, January 22 through Friday, January 27.
A subcontractor of RIPA & Associates, LLC will be installing turn lanes and relocating signal poles on the north side of SW Highway 484, near the SW 20th Avenue Road intersection. The work will also include an eastbound separator, and equipment and personnel will be in the county right-of-way.
Crews will place barricades and signs to direct traffic through the work zones. Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules.
