The park grounds at Fort King National Historic Landmark, including the fort, will have reduced hours of operation effective immediately.
Due to the ongoing construction that is associated with the new blacksmith shop, the park grounds will close at 5 p.m. each day until further notice. The normal hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset.
During this time, the visitor center and archaeological center will remain operational on Fridays and Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
