George Williams Jr. was born on February 9, 1945, to George Williams, Sr and Alzada Howell Williams in Sparr, Florida.
George was of the Christian Faith and acknowledged Christ as his Savior. He was united in Holy matrimony to Ora Lee McMahon.
George enjoyed life, family members, and friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others with an exchange of interesting ideas. His sense of humor would light up their day.
George was committed to family, making sure that they all knew of his support for them in every way. Grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. He will be missed but not forgotten.
On January 17, 2023, George Williams, Jr. heard the Master’s call and went on home to be with God and loved ones that had gone on before. He was preceded in death by both his parents George Williams, Sr and Alzada Williams; his wife, Ora Lee McMahon-Williams; His siblings, Henrietta Williams, Mae Ola Brooks, Otis, and Elzada Williams
He leaves to cherish his memories: Two daughters, LaShune Lillie and Gwendolyn Wilcox (Ron); one son, George Williams (Chantel); one sister, Pinkey Williams (Russell); 13 grands; 12 great grands; 1 great-great grand and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 1:00 until 6:00PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00AM at Debose Chapel United Methodist Church, 2570 NW 145th St. Citra, Florida, 32113
