The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County will host its inaugural Inspire Gala in March to honor members of the community for their efforts to create change and leave a lasting impact.
The Inspire Gala will be held on Friday, March 3, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Hilton Churchhill Ballroom located at 3600 SW 36th Avenue in Ocala. During the event, the Community Foundation will recognize an individual from each of the following categories:
- Youth Philanthropist of The Year.
- Emerging Nonprofit.
- Nonprofit Board Member of The Year.
- Nonprofit of The Year.
- Corporate Partner of The Year.
- The Unsung Hero.
- Philanthropist of The Year.
The deadline to submit a nomination is on Wednesday, February 1 at 9 p.m. Nomination forms are available by clicking here, and the completed forms can be emailed ([email protected]) or delivered/mailed (The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion  County, 324 SE 24th Street, Ocala, FL 34471).
Each nomination will be sent to another Community Foundation outside of Marion County for voting. The nominations will have their names redacted and will be assigned a number to ensure that voting is based on merit and their contributions to the community through their dedication, time, and resources to create a better Marion County, according to the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County.
Once all the nominations have been tallied, the top three nominees for each category will be notified, and they will be given the opportunity to attend the upcoming Gala with a guest.
