Ocala firefighters respond to four-vehicle crash with rollover on N Pine Avenue

Ocala firefighters responded to the intersection of N Pine Avenue and NW 10th Street on Monday morning after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle accident in the area.

Shortly after 8:50 a.m., Ocala Fire Rescue units consisting of Engine 1, Rescue 1, Tower 1, Battalion Chief 11, and a Safety Officer were dispatched to the intersection. Upon arrival, crew members observed a multi-vehicle crash with rollover.

According to OFR, four vehicles were involved in the accident – a red pickup truck, black sedan, and silver sedan, along with a green sedan that had rolled over during the crash.

While the vehicles sustained damages, extrication was not necessary. OFR stated that the occupants had exited their respective vehicles and were ambulatory.

OFR crews stabilized the green sedan and assessed the individuals who were involved in the accident. The driver of the green sedan was transported to a medical facility for further evaluation.

No significant injuries were reported.

The Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the scene of the accident.
