Marylin (Hess) Hall, 89, current resident of Ocala, Florida, former resident of New London, Ohio, passed away on January 31, 2023 at her residence. She was a 1951 graduate of New London High School.
She worked at the A&P Store and Miller Brothers in New London, Ohio before moving to Florida in 1983. Marylin enjoyed meeting all of her customers and never forgot a name. She retired from Handyway Convenience Store in 2009.
Marylin enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, and following college and pro football. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marylin is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Blanche Hess, husband R.J. Hall, sons Barry Hall and Steve Johnson, grandson Matt Hall and all of her siblings.
Marylin is survived by her sons Randy (Becky) Johnson and Rick (Debbie) Hall, both of Ohio, daughters Missy (Hallard) Martin and Lori (Bruce) Dotten, both of Florida, daughter-in-law Norma Johnson of Florida, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 1pm-6pm at 2 East Main in New London, Ohio. Please join us to celebrate her life and share your favorite memories. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to express their condolences may donate to Hospice of Marion County, Florida in her memory.
