Southeastern Pro Rodeo returns to Ocala in March

The Southeastern Pro Rodeo is set to return to Ocala in March for its 30th annual installment.

The two-day event will take place on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18 at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, which is located at 2200 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala. Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

The upcoming rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), and it will feature eight major events: breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, WPRA barrel racing, and bull riding.

Tickets are currently available online and cost $22 per person. Tickets will also be on sale at the gate for $25. Admission is free for children ages 5 and under.

The Southeastern Pro Rodeo is offering the following Friday Night Specials for the performance on March 17: $10 tickets for children ages 6 through 11 (online or at the gate) and $15 tickets for first responders at the gate (must present an appropriate ID).
