Ocala, FL – E. Thomas O’Hara Jr., age 71, longtime resident of Concord, passed away on February 20, 2023 at Cates Hospice House in Ocala, FL.

He was born in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Edward Thomas O’Hara Sr., and Virginia Frances (Sandock) O’Hara.

A graduate of Northeastern University, he received his Chartered Financial Analyst charter in 1984. He was Chief Investment Officer for many years for the law firm of Nixon Peabody in Boston, MA.

A passionate guitar player since the age of 15, he will be missed by band mates and friends near and far.

Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol (Phillips) O’Hara of Ocala FL; his children: Dan (Robie), Bobby (Jennie) and Jim (Meredith). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Katie Calnan (Brad), Mason O’Hara, Matthew O’Hara, Gabriel O’Hara, and Lyla O’Hara. Additionally, he is survived by siblings David O’Hara (Nancy), Kim Hally (Jack), Kathy O’Hara, Karen Riley (Jim) and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held on March 3rd from 4 to 7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held at the United Church of Penacook at 11 AM on March 4th, 21 Merrimack Street, Penacook, NH.

Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Fisherville Road, Concord, NH.
