Salvatore “Sam” C. Serine, age 81, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on Jan. 16, 2023.
Formerly of Dunmore, Pa., Salvatore was the son of the late James V. and Rose M. Gatto Serine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Serine; and twin brother, Enrico “Harry” Serine. Salvatore is survived by a daughter, Melanie Serine Russell (John), of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Molly. He is also survived by a sister, Rose Serine Musti (Robert), of Scranton; James V. Serine Jr. (Marie), of Durham, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Virginia Serine, of Scranton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was a United States Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Salvatore will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pa.
