The Fort King National Historic Landmark will host its next cast iron cooking class on Saturday, March 18, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
During the hands-on class, participants will get to step back in time while learning how to cook over an open fire. The class will provide various tips and tricks to make delicious meals using a cast iron skillet along with the proper care instructions.
The cast iron cooking class is for adults only (ages 18 and up), and there is a $20 fee to participate.
Later this year, two additional cast iron cooking classes will be held at the Fort King National Historic Landmark (3925 E Fort King Street in Ocala) on Saturday, September 16 and Saturday, October 21, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
