A 57-year-old woman from Gainesville has claimed a $2 million top prize from the Florida Lottery’s 100X THE CASH scratch-off game.
The Florida Lottery announced earlier today that Diane McHome visited the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee to claim her prize, and she chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,390,000.
McHome purchased her winning ticket from Southeast Gator Liquors, which is located at 2305 SE Hawthorne Road in Gainesville. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
The $10 scratch-off game, 100X THE CASH, features nearly $338 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2 million. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.44.
