Peter Pontickio, 65, of Ocala, Florida passed away March 6, 2023, at his home in Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Susan Pontickio for 38 years.
Peter was born in Freeport, New York, the son of the late Anthony and Despina Pontickio. Prior to his retirement he worked as a mechanic. He loved to work with his hands on everything, but especially with cars, wood and metal.
Peter is survived by his wife, Susan Pontickio of Ocala, FL and daughters, Christina Stampe and her husband Brian of Auburndale, FL and Barbara Monaco and her husband, Nick of Daytona Beach Shores, FL and his grandson, Niko.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve.
The family will receive friends at St. Mark’s Greek Orthodox Church, 9926 SE 36th Avenue, Belleview, FL 34420 from 12:30PM to 1:30 PM followed by the Funeral Services. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Mark’s Greek Orthodox Church, Belleview.
