The Ocala Symphony Orchestra is inviting students and their families to attend an open rehearsal of its upcoming concert on Friday, March 17 at the Reilly Arts Center.
During the event, guests will get a behind-the-curtain look at the orchestra as they rehearse pieces in preparation for this weekend’s “Youthful Renderings” performances featuring the 2023 Young Artist Competition winners.

On the day of the rehearsal, the doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and snacks will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Those in attendance will then have a front-row seat in the auditorium as the conductor and orchestra bring pieces of music to life from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

While open rehearsals are more relaxed than a formal orchestra performance, all guests will be asked to maintain concert manners and respect the musicians and conductor.
There are no tickets for the rehearsal, and the event is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to RSVP by sending an email to [email protected].
The Reilly Arts Center is located at 500 NE 9th Street in Ocala. For more information, visit the Reilly Arts Center website.
