The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public to locate a missing and endangered 66-year-old woman from St. Augustine who was last seen in the Ocala National Forest on Friday, March 10.
Theresa Hartley was last seen a week ago in the area of N Forest Road 88, approximately one mile south of N Forest Road 66 in the Ocala National Forest, near Lake Delancy. She was with a friend in the woods when their vehicle became stuck, according to MCSO.
The friend left to find help and advised Theresa to stay with the vehicle. When the vehicle was later located by her friend, Theresa was not with the vehicle.
Law enforcement is concerned for Theresa’s safety. It is possible that she has a mental condition and may have become lost in the woods.
